  Durham University is pleased to invite applications for a Bursary Scheme for applicants to their postgraduate Community and Youth Work programmes.

 The School of Applied Social Sciences at Durham University is inviting applications for a new bursary scheme.  This will provide bursaries of £2,550 each towards the fees for two students who are wishing to study towards a Masters degree on one of our leading postgraduate programmes in Community and Youth Work starting in October 2012.

 ‘The Theory and Practice of Interreligious Dialogue’
A Placement Module in a setting of dialogue (33 hours)

MA: Total 96 hours module contact time over 12 Saturdays
4 modules: As above. Plus Dissertation 15,000 words

Tuition fees for students starting in September 2011 are:

Candidates who already possess a higher degree may be required to pay further fees.

Outstanding Leadership
How to enable and sustain engagement and high performance in your organisation

The Outstanding Leadership series of afternoon seminars will be launched on 7 June 2011. At the launch session you can hear a summary of emerging themes from important research examining the distinction between good leadership and outstanding leadership. Build on the learning from the launch session by attending the series of modules which explore in more depth the key themes emerging from the research. The launch session and five workshops will all be held at Cass Business School and will run from 16.00 until 19.00. Refreshments will be provided before and after the seminar to provide ample opportunties for networking.
