25th Annual London Multi-Faith Pilgrimage for Peace
5 Jun 2010 (All day)

Everyone is welcome to be part of this simple act of cooperation across the religious divide.
The London People of Faith for Peace is a group committed to interfaith harmony and understanding; believing in the power of religious faith to bring peace and not division.
All religions are represented, either in the groups of pilgrims or in the places of worship visited where there is a stop for prayer, conversation and refreshments.
You are very welcome to join in this simple act of cooperation across the religious divide.
If you cannot make the pilgrimage then say a prayer, especially for all those, in this country and throughout the world, who are suffering from discrimination on account of their race or religious beliefs.
The pilgrimage is sponsored by Westminster Interfaith: an agency of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Westminster, under the patronage of the Archbishop. Their aim is to increase understanding, co-operation and respect between Christians and people of different faiths, and in particular to promote greater awareness through dialogue, prayer and action, according to the teaching of the Second Vatican Council.
You may join or leave the pilgrimage at any point. To take part fully you will need a One Day Travel Card Zones 1-2 unless you have an Oyster Card, a Freedom Pass or private transport.
