Building Up - Research Capacity in "Religion & Youth in Communities" a FaithxChange event
2 Jul 2010 - 10:00am - 4:15pm
The day will bring together academics, policy-makers and practitioners
- at Leeds University co hosted by the Faiths and Civil Society Unit at Goldsmiths, University of London and Leeds University.
This second FaithxChange event will bring together academics, policy-makers and practitioners, with an interest in the field, and will include presentations from across these perspectives.
There will be an emphasis on the participation of young people. The main aim of the event is to build up research capacity, and its usefulness, in the field. With this in mind there will be plenty of opportunity for discussion and reflection.
If you would like to attend the event, please email Martha Shaw (m.shaw@gold.ac.uk) by 11th June. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.
9.30am for registration 10.00am start.
You are invited to add yourself to an on-line database at www.faithxchange.org.uk
This is a 'bank' of young people interested in taking part in research about youth and faith, and more established researchers who want to work with them.
Through this database you will be able to find others working on, or with, issues relevant to young people and faith in communities from the academic, practice and policy fields. In order to join the database, please fill in the short on-line form when you log onto the site.
