The event will include keynote presentations from Ann Morisy and Fran Beckett and there are a wide variety of discussion groups including The joys & frustrations of Church-Related Community Work, Community ministry in a multi-faith society, Community-based Pioneer Ministry, Churches tackling homelessness & housing needs, Community approaches for Academy Schools, Mentoring to maximize potential, Developing missional communities and Local community action & community organising. Partner agencies involved with the event include Housing Justice, Livability, Church Action on Poverty, Tear Fund, Urban Expression, Grassroots, Oasis College, Evangelical Alliance and the Centre for Youth Ministry and there will be resources available from many of these organisations at the event. see attached pdf for full details

The aims for the event are: To bring together a wide range of people interested in church and community work, to provide inspiration and encouragement, to share good practice, to develop strategic links and networks and to consider the future role of the Church in relation to community development work and community ministry.
