CLG Framework: Funding for faith groups

FbRN UK welcomes the investment announced in the Framework and is pleased to note the recognition that bridging social capital can be built amongst people sharing the same religion or belief (page 27), an insight coming from the Faith Communities Capacity Building Fund.
The Framework does not say how much funding will be available in the Faiths in Action Fund. It is evident from the information given out by the Community Development Foundation that this is much less than was available in the Faith Communities Capacity Building Fund, which it replaces. Much of the funding that faith based groups will need in order to play their part in this Framework will therefore have to come from the other 'pots' listed in the CLG document, for example, the investment in the Community Anchor Programme, the Community Assets Fund, the Grass Roots Grants Programme.
Will the learning from the FCCBF about the funding of faith based groups be transmitted to the decision makers in these other funds?
How will faith based groups get to know about these funds and how to access them?
Do you think these are issues? And if so what needs to be done about them?
Do you have other issues about funding?
