Mapping Faith-based Social Enterprise – we want to hear from you!

Over summer 2013 we are looking to interview 20-30 case studies to better understand faith-based social enterprise.

Mapping Faith-based Social Enterprise – we want to hear from you!

Social enterprises are springing up across the country. Whether it is driven by financial pressures, or a desire to work more flexibly than traditional charity models allow or for some other reason, social enterprise is an attractive route for new or existing organisations.  With the support of Middlesex University we will be mapping faith based social enterprises of all kinds – large and small, new and old – and we will use the widest possible definition of social enterprise.  Please tell us if you are a faith based social enterprise or if you know of faith based social enterprises in your area.  Don’t assume someone else will tell us – it’s better we hear from two sources than we never get to hear about you at all! Over the summer we will also be interviewing about 20-30 case studies to understand faith based social enterprise in more detail.  We will publish an initial report in the autumn.  If you are interested in this area don’t forget our initial scoping study of faith based social enterprise which is downloadable here.  Contact Steve Miller with details of faith based social enterprises or for any more information about this project.
