Training - 'Doing it properly' - March 2014 onwards

Cross Keys Associates based in Doncaster are running a series of linked half-day sessions entitled “Doing it Properly” - Running the Organisation: A Training Programme for Trustees and key staff and volunteers.  Each of the five sessions costs £50 and there are reductions for booking multiple sessions.  The first session on March 11th is focused on Setting up a Project: Feasibility Studies, Business Planning and Funding Strategies.  Click on ‘courses’ for the details of the full series.  Cross Keys is a small private training provider and several of the trainers have a good understanding of and background in faith communities. 

The course covers:

• finding out if there is a need for your project or plan;
• carrying out consultations;
• will your project work?
• what resources do you need to make it work?
• developing a business plan for your project;
• identifying resources to make your project work;
• developing a funding strategy.
